The traditional way of adjusting the buzz is to alternately regulate the trompette's tuning peg and the tension of a cord running from the trompette string to the peg set into the tailpiece. If a spring is added to the buzzing bridge, this procedure becomes significantly simpler. For adjusting the buzz you only use a strain regulation screw attached to the spring's end. Turning the screw does not alter the pitch of the trompette. A heat shrink can be applied to the spring to avoid vibrations.
